The main theme of the biennial Artmosphere of 2019 was "Offline" whatever way the artists wanted to interpret that concept. Of course the graffitti is in and of itself to be offline (discarding the publication in social networks) but the act in itself of creation. Anyway it was interesting to review the number of ways in which the artists interpreted that idea. My proposal was, on one hand, to make a stop motion video, like the ones I had been experimenting with, using my pantograph to make tags. On the other hand, to produce completely in Moscow and for the biennial, a giant Stroke in plywood. For me it was easy to link this concept with my work, since that is what I am always looking for. But I do not reject technology, ever. I find it interesting to use technology in ways that have not been used before, or for things that were not thought. For this particular case, I had the opportunity to explain my own intention and work process, which led me to the final object that solved the problem that was first posed to me; how to make the strokes that I make with the computer, in analog form from scratch. Working and producing in Moscow was more than fun and exciting. With the invincible production of Katya Burkhanova and with the support of its founders Sabina Chagina and Julia Vasilenko, the incredible efficiency and interpretation of my designs by @woodgears_ru and all the curators, who were also judges of the proposals.

Pablo Harymbat (1977), Argentine artist who lives and works in Buenos Aires. A multifaceted creator, he produces works in various formats such as murals, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, digital animation and 3d modeling. He began in the late 90's painting graffiti and canvas while studying Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires. His first public works (2005-2017), signed under the pseudonym Gualicho, are an unmistakable trademark of the urban scene in Buenos Aires and the world. He has painted murals, held exhibitions and participated in festivals in more than 25 cities around the world such as Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Havana, New York and Moscow among many others. It is part of the permanent collection of the Winzavod Contemporary Arts Center in Moscow and the Museum of Contemporary Art of La Boca –MARCO, in Buenos Aires. His recent works investigate the relationship between technology and analog creation. He often uses digital or virtual production tools in a completely different way for what they were created for, reaching results that he later re-interprets from the very doing of the plastic work. His first solo exhibition was in Moscow in 2009 at Mel Space and his last in Un lugar en el mundo in 2017. Group: Hamney Barcelona, District 13 Paris, Pure Evil London, Neurotitan Berlin, among several others. In buenos Aires: Azur, Appetite, Krimson, Palais de Glase, CCRecoleta, Fundación Proa, Ruth Benzacar (curriculum 0 year 2005) and Museo Castagnino, among others.
