About The Artwork
This cat figure sculpture was inspired by my cat Fellini when he was young. Expressive style also similar to his behaviour, curious, smart and full of energy. I love cats, have two of them and they're twins. Cat as a symbol represents happiness and well being in a home, and that's why i like this sculpture. I chose clay because i like the natural touch of material, and it's capabilities. The process involved sculpting, waiting for it to dry for about two months (you dont neccecarily have to wait that long) and then baking it whole day on 800 degrees celsius.
