"In the series of ensembles Germinar el Cuerpo (2021), this inescapable link between human and nature takes on a body in gestating phytomorphic beings. In this resulting hybrid image, the possibilities of the metaphor seem to expand into meanings; and it is that -codified through personal or cultural filters- any form of landscape is filled with values until it becomes symbols such as those proposed by Molina-Molina. Under this same operation, in her collages of Cuerpos Germinados (2021), the roots, pistils and plant silhouettes become one with the human figures, to speak of new possibilities of understanding a harmonious habitat for the future." Manuel Vázques-Ortega *NOTE Screenprinting and collage on paper 90 gr / m2 on soft cotton of 260 gr / m2. Signed on february 2022 and a certificate of authenticity is added. All my works are sent very well protected in a cage. *The lighting, screen display settings, or cameras may cause discrepancies between colors in-person and online. I am interested in understanding the nature through the representation of organical forms. My work research the elements of the nature as a subject of interest; I feel to become more sensitive towards nature to extract the necessary recourses to explore organic forms and detach them, using sketching, paintings and ceramics as means for the perception of the space and the plastic reflection to then translate my work into a more sensitive language.
