I was in the port of Cacilhas, Portugal, waiting for a boat that would take me to Lisbon. That's when I saw a large sailboat, anchored. It had three yellow masts and I thought the contrast of the color with the blue sky was beautiful. I approached him and decided to photograph them, because many people want to have photographs with nautical motifs, in the decoration of rooms. Behold, the result was surprising.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
