My name is Edilson Rachide Ussiana Tomás, I am Mozambican born in Maputo on April 19, 1994. In Maputo I grew up and it was where I also discovered my love for art and with this I chose Photography as a way of expressing this feeling. At the moment I am student of the 3rd year of the course of Civil Engineering by the Polytechnic University The Polytechnic and I intend to conciliate the two offices to express my true Me. I started shooting in 20011 and with hard work, in 2015 I was chosen as the author of one of the best works in the exhibition of the BIENAL of TDM, in 2016 I had an honorable mention in the contest of Minerva with the theme Women invisible, in 2017 I was in third place in the contest of the UN woman With the theme of economic empowerment of women, in 2018 I was selected to participate in the artistic residence ‘Catchupa Factory’, in Mindelo, Cape Verde and I was in third place in the contest of the ANAC eighth edition of the photography competition "Wild Life" , Nominated for the 2019 MOZAL Artes & Culture Award, Shortlisted in world water day photo contest 2021, Best 35 and Honorable Mention Best of Africa in world water day photo contest 2022.
