Israel
Elena Levinson was born in Russia and worked as a graphic designer. Today she lives in Israel in Netanya, close to the beach, which serves as a constant inspiration for her color palette. Levinson paints characters in a naive expressionist style, with a touch of minimalism. Her process begins by covering the surface in back and then adding layers of colors. Levinson uses techniques of layering and scraping on the canvas, which creates a play of colors. She has participated in various group exhibitions across Israel.
