Hi! Welcome to my site. My name is Khrystyna Koliada. I am a Ukrainian artist from Lviv – ‚the city of lions‘ ? I graduated from ‚Stryi Art School‘ and then followed my artistic passion at the ‚National Academy of Arts‘ where I received my master’s degree. Today, I am an artist, teacher, and researcher. I simply love my job and now I am really into painting – especially painting with oil! Whenever I see something that inspires me, whether an interesting person or a beautiful flower, painting with oil comes natural to me. Whenever I feel something that touches me like the joy of love or the misery of war, painting with oil is what I go to first. In addition to capturing what I see or feel, I seem to always go back to nature, my greatest pleasure. It is he one thing I can always seek refuge in and where I find my solace. The same is true for the human body: in its essence constant, but so different from one human being to the other. In this site I will not only share my work, which I had the chance to present at the ‘Eros’ exhibition in Ukraine. I will also be sharing myself through my art with you.
