About The Artwork
Painted by the Artist as he moved from Northern New York to Bulgaria in 2023. Started on it in the USA and continued working on it as he crossed the Atlantic Ocean on the Queen Mary 2. Continued working on it as he crossed Europe in his brother-in-law's truck with his family (including a cat). Upon arrival in Bulgaria, went to Rila Monastery for his second time in order to take dozens of detail photographs that he used to get the painting's details correct. Upon finishing, took the painting to the monastery where it was blessed by one of the priests. Part of that blessing included a blessing upon "all who see this painting".
