In recent years, he has risen to prominence, with his pieces being sold in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His unique style, blending contemporary and traditional elements, has garnered a loyal base of collectors and collaborators. A self-taught artist by nature, Aeidy Kassimba was heavily influenced by his family. His brother, a celebrated portrait artist, and his father, an avid collector of African art paintings and sculptures, instilled in him an appreciation for art from a young age.
