About The Artwork
Inspired by the elegance and harmony of traditional koi paintings, jill created a shark painting with the same flow. Each of jills pieces begin with a chaotic splatter in the frame of acrylic paint. Then the foreground is created in a controlled manner in oils. The mix of mediums as well as the painting reaching into the frame creates a dynamic and completely unique piece of art. The great white sharks swim through a splattered ocean of blues accompanied by sea turtles and clown fish. This piece although stunning and exciting also evokes a sense of peace and harmony.
