The rabbit is an animal with a polyvalent symbolism: from night, fertility, luck to dirt, lubricity or prosperity. In the work signed by Botiş, the dead rabbit, hang with the head upside down, with his legs tight and stained with blood on his fur becomes a symbol of vulnerability and sacrifice. The catch is also a symbol for quick passage of time of whom end there is the instauration of death and the loss in nowhere of any connection to the organicity, as the intense black background suggests. The way the lifeless paw is dangling, signify the flowing into unknown and the impossibility of finding any escape.
