Polygon X Print

Polygon X is the first artwork from the "Polygon" series created during the psy trance festival near the Kyiv, Ukraine. All of them are based on the night installation, which was created with cotton strings, ultraviolet lamps, fabric prints and the numerous natural objects located in forest - including trees. For some objects flat pictures are just not enough, and I needed something more than just a photo to capture the feeling of the moment. That's why all the pictures from this series are kaleidoscopic, repeating themselves and reflecting the image from the different angle in perfect symmetry. X starts the series with sandglasses of light, created in the central part of the picture. It's about feeling the moment pass and observing the time without need to stop it, powered by deep bass of psychedelic trance sound rolling through your chest. It's night, music, and light somewhere very far from civilization, something alien inside of us that shows up every time we found ourselves alone in the dark. Only 20 copies will be sold.
