This illustration is done in India ink and graphite. It represents the intrinsic value of existence beyond matter. It is an invitation to dwell on the beauty of life and the fragility that distinguishes it (the circle of intertwined flowers), not to limit oneself to external and superficial beauty, but to look for a value that lasts longer over time (human bones that resist to time, in spite of the flesh) and to seek a higher spirituality, which is not limited to a religious faith, therefore find a deeper respect for life itself in all its forms (the hand that crosses the flower, over a vortex and a circle. On the index finger is the alchemical symbol of the "Quinta Essentia", the spiritual element.
