Beautiful Love, Where Have You Gone? Print

There is a scene in "The Full Monty", where some of the protagonists are trying to steal girders from an old factory, in the run-down post industrial town of Sheffield, when one of the girders, which was acting as a bridge falls into the canal and our hero is left, stranded, on a half-submerged canal in the canal. Well, that's how I remember it! This was the first drawing I did after I split up with my partner of ten years, and that is exactly how I felt. My only escape, a dream of returning to India... which I did... and little did I know I would spend the next seven years as a nomad.
