About The Artwork
I'm inspired by my own connection to nature and it's sensuality and the loss of personal contact caused by both the pandemic and technology. I hope the viewer can feel the longing and our true need for physical contact and contact with nature and doing so with out devices. The desire to affirm our own sensuality and innocence is still with us in this Anthropocene era. I used silver prints for the nudes and inkjet copies for seascape in hopes of adding the feeling depth, like when we stand near an ocean.
