Unum Festival Clubscape Painting

I have a confirmation of a certain feeling related to the bridge between club culture and prehistoric gatherings. Fundamentally, nothing has changed in terms of basic components. The controlled use of fire dramatically altered the course of evolution. Rituals were conducted inside caves, around the magic of fire, with cave paintings and drawings depicting these events. There’s always the central figure in the group (the artist), and anyone who has attended parties knows, even if they can't articulate it, those special, primitive, and universal moments. We can only imagine the sounds they made and the visuals created by their shadows on the walls. I always say this: caves were the first clubs of humanity. We have this primordial need to be in a dark environment, safe from the outside world, like in a womb, close to others, and connected to the same frequencies. The works in this series are not conclusions but a set of open doors. I'm searching for those frequencies people experience in clubs, during particular moments that can't be described in words. I don't want people to have words to describe them; some things should remain unspoken, unexplained. Instead, I aim to create a silent/visual recognition of those feelings, without them being verbally articulated. Using these two prehistoric mediums (drawing and painting), I believe I have a better chance of encountering those frequencies. Through traditional media techniques, we can see other parts of the clubbing spectrum, beyond the music, mappings, photos/videos, and everything else.
