Travel Amulet Painting

The first painting, which opens a series of six associative compositions, interpreted as certain amulets. These images appeared quickly, materializing from the depths of the author's subconscious. Nothing was planned or analyzed in advance. Arbitrary elements of objects that aroused the author's sympathy for reasons inexplicable in advance were simply added one to the other. The result was six collage sketches. Working on them was similar to the “automatic writing” of the surrealists. All the meanings began to open up only later. It turned out to be a very interesting study, formal psychoanalysis. It remains to write two more images and the series will be completed. Because of the impatience to share emerging works, they began to be published one at a time, immediately upon completion. There were immediately two bidders for the purchase of the first amulet, from Moscow and from Vienna. To send it to Austria, I had to write a copy on canvas. Here is the third take. Apparently, this amulet is an travel amulet for a reason: as soon as you depict it, it immediately floats away. Now there will be at least three of them. Where will the third one go?
