About The Artwork
The local water park was my inspiration for this piece. My hope is that viewers are motivated to take time to have fun with their children and family this summer. I chose watercolor because of its ease of color blending and the fact that the paint creates countless layers of spectacular hues. Children being refreshed by cool water on a hot summer at a community park was the perfect subject matter. It was important that I captured kids relaxing and bet care free.
