The drawing is part of a series about the architecture of Buenos Aires. This public building was abandoned before completion, which happened many times in my city. This is sad, and clearly shows how leaders in our country act. Its stripped-down appearance struck my gaze, and invited me to use it as a base to play with the materials. So I made a light use of pencil, drawing loose lines and adding palette knife strokes for a suggestive rather than descriptive style.
