About The Artwork
This painting depicts different forms of music. Musical notes, electronic grids and frequency waves. It was meant to be an hommage to my life as a musician where I keep on learning. In the past years more in depth from an electronic musical point of view. From something invisible the dimension that frequency waves bring making the music visible. The facility of the adaptable grid in the DAW's brings me to a place where I experience more freedom than I ever have in music since the day I began to play, 35 years ago. This painting is a celebration of this freedom. Both sides the painting's indigo blue give it a woven like feel and there are boro stitches on both sides to accentuate it. It holds the canvas it the middle. The edges of the work are the painting the way you see it.
