About The Artwork
I grew up with horses and they have always been my favourite animal. I tried to capture the natural beauty of the horse and the connection that a human can have with their horse by the warm look in the horses eye. I hope who ever buys this work will feel the love I put into painting it. I tried to make it realistic but at the same time, almost dreamy, too good to be true, because that is what the painting means to me. It holds a sense of nostalgia for those horsey times in my life that maybe I will reignite one day. I chose acrylic medium because I felt this was the best way to achieve this realistic yet dreamy outcome.
