About The Artwork
Inspired by the one and only Raf Simmons, a Belgian fashion designer. I reminisced on the collection tittled "May The circle be unbroken. For this collection, Raf Simons conveyed a spiritual ethos in conjunction with Herman Hesse’s novel “Siddhartha” which Simons depicts in many of the clothing pieces. I was inspired about the art direction & the revealing messages being told on each of the art works Simmons produced. I chose the array of bold yet minimal color schemes to deliver a meditational perspective. In beginning my process for this painting I wanted to propose an eccentric tone and help create a spiritual ethos as well. This is a result Minimal structure, Abstract thought, unconventional Design that is revealed to the viewer.
