Maiden (Omidan) Painting

My painting are intersection of surrealism, impressionism and realism. In the past and some part of the world til now,women were considered to be full-time home makers.Their responsibilities were to take care of their children and family. they did not have any roles the house earning nor have a final say.women are blaim for everything that happens in the society plus the aspects of raising children.Every finger is been placed on women,even if men are the one at fault, they question every character of the women.Even though women are no longer staying at home full time,they are now doing what men are doing ,they are now paying bills.they also earned for the family just like men. Even though the percentage of women in the workplace are still less than that of men. Women voice need to be heard fully so I'm using my painting to appreciate every woman in the world. Women voice need to be heard fully and their decision making. The idea of combining impasto and realism together is to appreciate every woman with the pain they go through. Using impasto to create a texture on the skin part to symbolizes the pain female goes through daily,even though they try keeping the pain with smile on their face.I believe every woman deserves to be respected and appreciated
