About The Artwork
It is said that tigers don't purr. My tiger shows his happiness with slightly closed eyes and a slight tilt of the head which gives him a smily face. Who could not be happy seeing this painting with the rich sunny colours in an expression of complete contentment! I use the finest permanent watercolour pigments with white body colour for greater depth, accentuated with ink. I have always been careful to choose materials that are colour fast so are resistant to fading.
