About The Artwork
Inspired by the natural world, I painted these dragonflies. While writing the work, I was amazed by the beautiful details of the wings. Dragonflies are depicted in relief. Using texture paste, gold leaf and acrylic paint, the dragonflies' body and wings were embossed with a golden sheen. Each vein on the wings is covered with gold leaf, which gives a special radiance when viewing the picture from different points of view. Dragonflies bring hope, good luck and new beginnings. Signed at the bottom of the picture. Date and title of the painting on the back of the work. Ready to hang - no framing required. The ends of the picture are painted over in light colors, like the background of the picture itself. The painting is covered with a special protective varnish. I have been living in the USA in New York. My artistic development was influenced by such artists as Rafael Santi, Salvador Dali, Gustav Klimt, Frida Kahlo. I draw inspiration from travel and life around me, noticing all the beauty that is everywhere. I found that I could show people this beauty through color and texture. In my work, I use texture paste, gold leaf, acrylic paints, which, together with the magical power of light penetrating the imaginary atmosphere of textures, have the potential to create a magical illusion and invite the viewer to interact with them. I have been drawing since childhood. I studied at the International Academy of Creativity. I love to learn new things and develop. Now I am constantly improving my skills, learning new painting techniques. At the moment, I also teach drawing for children at the KIT-NY Children's Development Center. I also conduct monthly master classes for adults where we master different drawing techniques. It all inspires me to create new beautiful works.
