Bruna is one of those unforgettabe individuals that I met in Madrid and had the chance to live with as a flatmate. She is an extremely feminine, utterly romantic and hyper sexual love seeker who is a great Joan Miro lover and has his works tattooed all over her back. My intention was to portray my Brazilian friend as a free, sex goddess who has preserved all the romanticism of a true woman. I love the delicacy of the pencil and I believe it is a wonderful medium for portraying realistic and subtle portraits. I have aimed at achieving a smooth transition from realism to surrealism and illustration.
