About The Artwork
The idea for this collage of photographs and painting came from a documentary I saw about the trafficking of women for prostitution. The rage and frustration I felt were transferred into this artwork. These women are treated like dolls. The central figure is red as an expression of anger, and sex features heavily in the collage as it is central to the trafficking.
