About The Artwork

The work portrays one of the most famous characters in Brazilian folklore, Saci Pererê, with his inseparable hat and pipe. Our dear Saci rests in a peaceful place, at the heart of the forest, thinking about his next antics. The epoxy part of the sculpture fits into a rustic piece of treated wood, which makes it unique and unrepeatable, through the integration of the modeled portion to the organic portion, which suggests the perfect harmony between the character and nature.
