About The Artwork
I start with and image and work out what it means to me. This piece is less about religion and more about culture. I grew up in rural Minnesota which features many small churches dotting the landscape. I saw them as boats in the distance and if they were on a hill they looked like they were flying. So I wondered what that would look like.
