This beautiful staircase is located on the inside of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. When I walked down after a photoshoot that took place on the rooftop, I noticed how this arm reaching into the picture offset the perfect geometry of the cold steel steps perfectally arranged on the inside of this monumental limestone structure. The image was taken with a Hasselblad X1D II and shot as is. The only manipulation done to the picture are basic image adjustments. The photo is printed on a Hahnemühle Satin Photo Rag fine art paper to increase the sense of this shot containing lots of grey areas.
