The contemporary use of emojis in my works was born out of the need to demonstrate human expressions as simply as possible. It is used to explain the recent kind of human conversations where people symbolize themselves online as emoji's and use it as a form of expression. In the present world, there are use of emoji's in conversations, nowadays you find people using just emoji's to communicate and express feelings. There is almost an emoji for every kind of expression. It's a surrealistic and mannerist style of art that describes human relationships and everyday interactions where there is an active and a passive individual in a dialogue. The painting; "The comforter" shows two people ; one is in an expressively depressed state and the other is in a non-expressive depressed state comforting another. It's like a blind man leading another blind man, but the one leading is so familiar with the road that he is capable of leading another. The painting is centered around the comforter not the comforted, although a viewers first attention will be on the comforted. Most times the comforter is not free of troubles and worries, he/she may may have as much worries as the comforted but stands in a position to make the other feel better. This happens a lot in our society, people who we think have the happiest lives may be going through much pain than we can see.
