About The Artwork
"Teamsters USA Proud" is composed of Teamster’s visual history from as early as 1899 to the present day building in Washington D.C. It incorporates transportation vehicles past to present, diverse union workers, and American flags throughout the painting. The painting strives to recognize the teamsters’ strength, leadership, and mission over the years. Recently, I thought again of the importance of capturing the history of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and how powerfully American Folk Art oil painting represents this history. Therefore, I can think of no better place for the painting to hang. This painting was graciously excepted by James P. Hoffa Jr. and is hanging in the American Teamster's office in Washington D.C.
