Last year, spring was late somewhere, so I had to push it a little. Still life with twigs. For painting I use quality canvas in a relative composition of cotton and synthetics. I usually use a three to four layer technique. After full drying, I glue the canvas to hardboard with the help of a special transparent double-sided adhesive foil. As a final point, varnished with protective varnish. Oil painting on canvas glued to hardboard size 39 x 29 cm. Treated with the final varnish.

Nadezhda Gellmundova was born in Semipalatinsk Kazakhstan in 1975. From childhood, she tended to work in various artistic fields. Drawing, pottery, crochet, sewing, ikebana and much more. Over time, she got into oil painting. As part of self-education, she studied books by American, Russian and Czech authors. Nadezhda's art is many-folded. She creates both realistic landscapes and portraits, as well as fantastic paintings. She uses brushes, spatulas and occasionally fingers when working. She works in a smooth and pasty technique.
