About The Artwork

The first spring flowers appear in the forest when the snow begins to melt. These delicate little flowers of blue and white shades with a pleasant aroma grow not only in the forest. They can be found in the mountains and meadows. And bouquets of snowdrops are just fabulous! This is an original oil painting on cotton canvas. I paint with a brush and a palette knife, make volumetric strokes! The edges of the painting are painted so it can be hung with or without a frame as you wish. On the back side, I attach a rope.

Hey! My name is Irina, I am a professional artist from Ukraine, the city of Kharkov. I devoted my life to creativity, working for many years as a decorator at the Kharkov National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. I have worked on the scenery for such famous and popular performances as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet and many others. Our theater troupe has toured Europe many times, so the European audience is well acquainted with our productions. In 2015, my colleagues and I worked on the scenery for the play La Bayadere for the Tokyo Theater. It was a joint project of Ukraine, Japan and Russia. The premiere of the performance at the Tokyo theater was a tremendous success! I also worked on the scenery for the Royal Russian Ballet. It is a theatrical enterprise that tours Europe, India and China every year. For individual works I use the same decorative painting techniques as for theater decorations. I use quality paints, experimenting with different materials, techniques and styles. I am especially inspired by the seascapes and the rich world of the deep sea. My biggest intention is to share my work with people from all over the world.
