While camping I saw the stars come out and get reflected in a calm river, and within an instant I knew i needed to make a series of work about rivers of stars. The cosmos are not only above us but at our feet. The work is heavy impasto with the thickest parts coming about a centimeter off the canvas. The work also features two orange cats lounging in the blowing grass.
