In the middle II Print

In 2016, I received a diploma with the Honors of the Dean in Krzysztof Wachowiak's Painting Studio on the Academy of fine arts in Warsaw. In my artworks, I bring up the subject of escapism - the attitude of a human who lives in the post-modern world, seeks freedom, and a way to escape from the problems caused by civilization. I try to mark the boundaries of nature and civilization - and often the latter is shown as a contrasting element penetrating the world of nature. The car becomes the escape tool, it is a barrier from reality and seeming shelter. In my paintings I try to create an atmosphere of the mystery of the place, time, and circumstances in which we find ourselves - we and the car.
