About The Artwork
Had a lot of fun with this one. Inspiration comes from ancient Greek sculptures. Wanted to take something classical and reuse it and change the atmosphere. Also have a great admiration for sculptures of this era and really enjoyed painting something as beautiful as this. Added a gold leafed lines to create a feeling of an Art Deco party to see how they look in a different environment and concluded that they probably will look great in any kind of setting. I used acrylic paint on canvas, also leafed gold and then varnished it.
