Work belonging to the series of paintings "Burning Ice" in which the artist talks about the problem of climate change through scenes in which we observe burning icebergs. Through an oxymoron and scenes with a surreal touch, he transports us to a stage with a great poetic and reinvidicativa load.

Painting and drawing is my LIFE. An innate law. Something burned into my DNA that traps me day after day. Something from which I cannot and do not want to run away. My job as a painter is my escape valve, it absorbs me and gives me the air I need to express my feelings and try to convey who I am, what I feel and what I am passionate about. All my work so far has revolved around water, a pure and necessary element for the survival of human beings and other species, a healing and purifying element of the body and soul. In my view, water has several similarities with the different ways of being or behaving that human beings have; We can be kind, pleasant, funny, meek like calm water or destructive, damaging and reckless like the runaway water or the raging sea. I am interested in the creation of my works with water as a pictorial element due to its difficulty in capturing it in a credible way and the wide range of representation possibilities it encompasses. Creating that binomial together with the human figure which also represents that close, mysterious, complex aspect, both in form and content and with which we all identify, seems very interesting to the viewer. Each of my series talks about different things or states of mind of people, personal or psychological aspects with which anyone can feel identified but always with a common element that appears in a more or less direct or protagonist way, water . Figurative Realism is the pictorial language with which as a painter I feel more comfortable and identified to develop my work, more myself. I try to evolve both in my work and technically to find my way, I let myself flow. Be water, my friend.
