About The Artwork
The painting was inspired by a birthday. I hope the viewers will feel the vibrancy of the flowers and the beauty of existence. I chose to work in oil because I've been drawing a lot lately and was missing the juiciness of paint. Sometimes painting is quite urgent - and this one felt like I needed to do it quickly. I chose these flowers because they were in front of me and they looked so strong and yet fragile.
