"Art History Thieves" is a series designed to reconstruct iconic works of art history, using pieces of those same works as DNA. Use art to build art. A tribute. A break. An old beginning. A new end. A reinterpretation of tradition. A question about copyright. A movement. In this work, we have a new construction of Andy Warhol's famous "Campbell soup".

Art is only worth if it reveals me to myself, it gives me more than mere images, but symbols and metaphors that stand by my side in the everyday fights. And as I believe that everything has a meaning and a direction, and that this meaning is the truly important part in everything called ‘human’, my goal is to make sense even when I pretend to be crazy, because art is expression, the sense of the senses, and our heart can be deceived but for a good cause — a good history, a good sense. // As Warhol, I’m interested in the intersection between the so-called fine arts and the mass communication; as Escher, I seek the nature of the support and the unique possibilities of expression offered by it. The themes are various and they guide the methods and techniques, which I choose according to the objectives and the audience of each work, aiming at the most appropriate shape and style to each message. // Since I started to talk, to draw and to write, I did it almost everyday of my life. Pen and paper are family, beside the books and notebooks and, more recently, my laptop. With them I have spent the past decade creating images and messages, from logotypes to poetry books, including exhibitions, performances, movies and applications, always trying and generally reaching the goal: make sense and enlighten people about themselves, reality, and spiritual life. It is a long journey, full of dangers, but it is rewarding.
