About The Artwork
Two of my greatest and constant sources of inspiration are landscape and textile design (patterns). I think both come together in this work somehow. I approach the paper space as if I were describing an actual territory, or playful and changing landscape. I want to challenge and surprise both myself and the viewer, using probably more media than I can "handle", creating multiple colliding layers of different type of textures and paint.

I was born and raised in Sweden, and I've been living and painting in Spain for many years now. My painting is process driven and inspired by natural phenomena such as weather processes, the interplay between light and movement in the tree crowns and on the surface of the sea. Current obsessions include patterns, vibrations, colour... My work is abstract, and I think of it as an organic process. There is no previous plan. I do try to keep a sense of a moving whole, offering a somewhat unstable but hopefully vibrant picture to the viewer, as a point of observation and reflection.
