Inspiration Blood, Sweat and Tears Cross 1A by Dennis Eavenson and Sharon Eavenson concerns our deep need to communicate about Jesus Christ's crucifixion and the sacrifice he made for all mankind. It is only through his blood, sweat and tears that we can find redemption and salvation. This digital painting was influenced by one of Dennis's ink drawings created in 2012. We choose gold to simulate precious metal and dominate this art. Blue represents both the water of life, sweat and the tears shed for mankind's dilemma. Blue also represents the heaven where we will join with our Lord and God. This artwork is a way for us to open a dialogue with our viewers concerning deep theological concepts.

Dennis Eavenson and Sharon Eavenson, a married working fine art team, pursuing both collaborative and individual fine art careers in Lithonia, Georgia, USA. In our studio we actively create new art works for sale and exhibition with brick and mortar art galleries. Online selling fuels our current artistic interests. We are also open to considering art commissions and royalty payments on specific original artworks intended for reproduction Our works encompass a wide range of styles and mediums. We see the act of artistic creation a liberating journey filled with passion and joy. Creative exploration generates mental and spiritual growth. It shapes, molds and enriches our existence. Our artwork is a means of commenting on the the world we experience and sharing found insights with others. In unexpected ways we open doors to human spiritual, emotional, political, cultural, and scientific discoveries that drive and challenge our human existence. We are not bound by artistic styles but encompass many in order to communicate themes related to the shared human existence that joins all mankind. The art collector will find a range of working styles that include: abstraction, expressionism, surrealism, realism, symbolism, pop, and a fusion of these categories. We flux and flow with both defined artistic traditions and with current trends in the art world. Medium is selected with theme and concept parameters. Our work includes: painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, digital, collage, assemblage, sculpture, relief and found objects. Our artist writings and notebooks contain: installations, environmental and conceptual pieces that we hope to produce. Being an artist is a lifelong pursuit of discovery. Thematic explorations through the decades address science, socio-cultural issues, human behavior, psychology, spirituality and theology. The use of card playing elements and gaming activity refers to the human need for status, dominance and territorial acquisition. Secondary concepts address psychological concerns, gender roles, political power, negotiation tactics and methods for social harmony. Compositions provide the viewer with visual queues for prompting reflection on cultural, psychological stances, political, philosophical and religious themes. Emotional energy and spirituality emanate from these art works filled with pop culture images, personalized signature shapes and scientific symbols.
