About The Artwork
While the individual artworks that make up this pop art piece may not align perfectly; you on the other hand however you are; align just right!! :) We are all perfectly imperfect, and imperfectly perfect; i.e. just right! I have a rare chronic illness, and I'm not sure what you have, however; part of being human is having something that isn't perfect. This is just one of the many things that unites us as human beings; we are all perfectly imperfect and imperfectly perfect. What else do we still need to find as humans to come together and have peace, love, respect for one another, unity and harmony?! What is still missing? My goal with this artwork is to invite people to see what is missing in both your own life and this artwork....I want this imperfectly perfect pop art print to help create spaces for people to come together and unite over their differences and use those differences to understand one another and then slowly over time we can do this all over the world; everywhere...we can start uniting over our differences and see how they are really the building blocks for us to be united together once again! For this pop art piece I chose 16 specific pieces of my collection called: dancing in all the colors of the rainbow, to ensure that every color and every style, texture and detail combination was offered. You will also notice that on this artwork the edges of the individual pieces sometimes overlap or the edge is missing, due to the layout. This is all intentional, since I wanted it to fit with the theme of this collection which is all about being perfectly imperfect; so to this pop art is perfectly imperfect! I created this digital collage pop art print by scanning each piece into my computer and then using a photo editing program to move each individual artwork into the place that felt just right in my heart. I hope the placement of each piece feels just right in your heart too!

"My watercolor art explores everything that is beautiful in this world...People, places, emotions, experiences, and opportunities." - Yeshaya Dank. I want beauty to be accessible to everyone, and for there to be the understanding that beauty exists everywhere, all the time, you just need to search for it and you will be dearly rewarded! I paint the uncharted territory, the places and things that I've never seen painted like this before or from this angle. I try to put many hidden gems into one painting, just waiting for you to discover. Showing how everything has beauty, it's just waiting to be discovered. Same with my artworks; with time you will discover new and beautiful details on each painting, which were previously hidden in plain sight! The artists who inspire my work include: Edvard Munch, Vincent Van Gogh, and JR. What is my creation process? I start by cutting stencils, to ensure that the base shapes and textures are perfect. I then paint using watercolour; up to 50 layers of different colours, in different areas. Allowing some areas to dry fast and some to try slower, creating different textures and shades of colour. I use thin canvasses intentionally, as i am trying to create beautiful getaways that when not being used, can just blend back into the background again. They don't stick out at you, yet they are still easily accessed at a moments notice, exactly when you need them. My total creation time, can be up to 3 months per painting. I grew up in Sydney, Australia. I'm currently based in Pimpinio, Victoria, Australia. How I came up with my pricing: I think a fair wage for an emerging artist is at least $125 USD per day + the cost of materials, shipping costs, handling & insurance costs. So if an artwork takes me a week to create it will cost $875 + the cost of materials, shipping costs, handling & insurance costs. If an artwork takes a month to create it will cost $3,750 + the cost of materials, shipping costs, handling & insurance costs. My highest priced piece (walking into the sunset) took 3 months to create; hence the $11,250 + cost of materials & shipping, handling & insurance costs.
