G-CODE_01 Sculpture - Limited Edition of 25

At the frontier between Sculpture and Design, this series of 3D-Printed artworks is part of the experiments I run in at my lab with some of the best machines you can find on the market. I fabricate these artefacts going through iteration-loops of design and fabrication until I get a satisfying result. I like the idea that these object just reflect my desire to make something that has no function but the one to be hanged on someone's wall. With this series, I am retaking the path of former artworks I made manually. Mostly process-oriented the approach I develop with these is a way to materialize the nodes of a distributed network of passive parts that have no ability at all to communicate remotely. They have to be seen by humans - or even non-humans - to relate to one-another. They shape some kind of Non-Internet-Of-Things.
