About The Artwork
being a fan of Mondrians Broadway Boogie Woogie,i set out to create a 3-D mondrian.i started w/ dozens of cut wood pieces in assorted thicknesses an widths/lengths.after assembling the sculpture,hundreds of hand cut paint swatches are added to the inside faces.straight on ,the sculpture appears to be white only,but movement in any direction reveal the homage.the work is resin coated for durability,and measures 24 by 24 by 3.5 inches
