From the time I did a lot of serigraphs..Part of the cycle:"Windows to Patience", 23 different, 24 haiku for each one! Summer burns up loneliness, Summer messes up the quiet, While it matures away into autumn, In velvet heat. In the darkness of expectation, And in different attire, I saw only you. I looked at you, I recognised you! I look at you and beseech you! I look and I wait. I see nothing! Shall I trust you... It will be hard. In invisible defense, I dropped all pretence. I shall trust the dragon, And I embrace vanity. Tender, but tough, My feline soul, bathes in the light, While it talks about shadows! To search for my self In the sameness so deceptive, Exquisite eternity, Unlocked by the nearness!

Bulgaria
Galia Chuntova is born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Who would make a bestseller of the messages hidden in Galia Chuntova's works? This person has not been born yet. Her paintings are a treasure trove for a whole novel, they are filled with symbols that beg to be deciphered, with nods to Samuel Beckett and allusions to Renee Magritte. And then there is the paper boat as an ever present detail in Galia's works. This paper boat has become a trademark of the artist. And let us hear what the author herself has to say about this: The paper boat has a message and a very important one – take life easy, breathe deeply, float! Bad thoughts are like stones, they drag us to the proverbial bottom. Paper boats get wet in seconds. But while they float, they are the epitome of beauty! Irina Vagalinska - bulgarian journalist.
