This picture symbolizes the freedom for women in South Africa and all around the world and was inspired by Apartheid (South African English pronunciation: /əˈpɑːrteɪd/; Afrikaans: [aˈpartɦəit]) which was institutionalized racial segregation and discrimination in South Africa between 1948 and 1991. The first apartheid law was the Prohibition of Mixed Marriages Act, 1949, followed closely by the Immorality Act of 1950, which made it illegal for most South African citizens to marry or pursue sexual relationships across racial lines. The Population Registration Act, 1950 classified all South Africans into one of four racial groups based on appearance, known ancestry, socioeconomic status, and cultural lifestyle: "black", "white", "colored", and "Indian", the last two of which included several sub-classifications. It is only over the last three or four decades that women's role in the history of South Africa has, belatedly, been given some recognition. The dress, accessories and styling were designed by the designer Panos Apergis. http://www.panosapergis.com/en Your print will be produced to the highest standards, proofed, checked and packed rolled in a tube sent by courier. Greek artist. Spyros Agrianitis (LightStories) was born in Athens. Studied photography and art history in the UK and Greece. "I celebrate the irony of life through my art. It is the irony of colors, of spaces, of feelings, of moments never to come again. There is no predictability, no control.. only the NOW. I celebrate the Now, the only moment there is, through my clicks.. But I put my own filter to the moment through my time in the dark room. My influence from my early days of painting turns most of my images picturesque, and thus the work portfolio is controversial. Instead of adapting all images to one style of "me", I prefer to treat each image uniquely, as it deserves, taking a different path each time. The completion of magic which starts form the moment I raise my camera to the eye, and ends with the final hours in post processing. It is the last moment when you feel it is "all" complete, that you do not need to touch the picture any more... and maybe this was my original fantasy, my original dream..." Since 1993 I have shot quite a number of celebrities, fashion models, designers, and well known artists around the world.
