12.10.23 A few weeks ago, while walking my dog, I met a classmate who informed me that my school friend Katya had a stroke and was in a coma. She passed away today (10.10.23). Her mother died at 41 from a stroke. She suffered the same fate. She was found in her apartment after 15 hours and taken to the hospital. My classmate commented that it was fortunate she didn't have children. This made me wonder. Losing a mother at a young age can be unbearable for children. However, they are also a continuation of ourselves, and we live on through them. And there is just an emptiness... It's sad **From my series “Introduction to death”: Epigraph. When my grandfather died, grandmother told me, "It's not dying that's scary, it's not knowing how those who are alive are doing. Movement helps me to get back to myself and not fall into a deep hole. When my grandmother died, I went to the gym and walked on the treadmill until my calves cramped up. The mental pain came out through the physical. But that doesn't always help. When the war started, it took me a lot longer to start to reclaim myself. I was in a deep freeze for a year. Physical activities help feel my body, recognize it, immerse myself in it. I feel that problems become easily solvable. It's as if there is a support that helps to cope with everything. Movement helps me to get back to myself and not fall into a deep hole.
