About The Artwork
It was winter. Everyone in my family was asleep when I started the painting. The snow that had been falling during the painting was so comforting and tranquilizing that it put me in the mood to finish this painting that night. This was my first and last painting that I finished in one go. I stood up from my chair at 5:40 am, the canvas was on the table, and I went to bed, leaving the painting to dry on the table. (With the frame, the painting's width is 65.5 cm, and its height is 51.5 cm. Without the frame, the width is 55 cm, and the height is 41 cm.)
