About The Artwork
This artwork is not only collage but mixed media: a mix of paper, acrylic, spray and ink. Varnished (anti UV). Ready to hang I wanted to mix past and present in this serie. The top model is a detail of "Young Lady", painting from Carl Timoleon van Neff (1804-1877). It was fun to imagine fashion from 19th century on a cover such as Vogue magazine. I added typography and current images to enhance the contrast between past and present.
